Security Leadership: Protecting People, Assets and Organisations
3rd CSO 360 Americas | New York City

The 3rd CSO 360 Americas returns to New York City, uniting Chief Security Officers, corporate security leaders, intelligence professionals and resilience practitioners from across the U.S. and the Americas for a practitioner-led congress built around substantive peer exchange.

This is a space for the people responsible for protecting people, assets and organisations — from executive protection and travel risk to geopolitics, crisis management and the growing convergence of physical and cyber security.

Included evening receptions provide the conditions for the kind of peer connection that formal programmes rarely allow. New York City provides the backdrop.

Co-located with the 7th CISO 360 Americas, parts of the agenda and the evening networking deliberately bridge both events — creating a rare setting where directors of corporate security and cybersecurity meet, compare notes and learn from one another.

Key themes (programme in development)

  • Geopolitics — terrorism, civil unrest and the evolving threat landscape
  • Protecting people — executive protection, travel risk and duty of care
  • Crisis management — business disruption, climate risk and operational continuity
  • Operational resilience — navigating complex, interconnected threat and regulatory environments
  • AI and emerging technology — leverage and mitigation for the corporate security function
  • Supply chain security — risk management across interconnected networks
  • Security convergence — physical security, intelligence, cybersecurity, electronic warfare and product security: the case for integration

Regina Lombardo

Regina Lombardo

Chief Security Officer, Metropolitan Museum of Art (US)

Regina Lombardo currently serves as the Chief Security Officer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, known to many as simply “The MET.” Its Fifth avenue address places it within the renowned Museum Mile.

Born in New York City and raised by Italian immigrant family, Lombardo often visited the MET during her childhood, taking in the Great Hall and visiting the galleries filled with arts and artifacts representing world civilization. Her favorite “thinking spot” was the famous MET steps where she often sat contemplating her future, though she never imagined her journey would swing her back full-circle to NYC and the beloved MET!”

Lombardo is not only responsible for the safety and security of the iconic buildings along Fifth Avenue, but also The MET Cloisters. Her team of 550 security professionals ensures the security and safety of The MET’s devoted staff, its collections and its 7 million visitors a year.  Her incredibly challenging mission is the safe execution of major events hosted at the MET, to include the most famous “MET Gala,” co-hosted by Vogue Magazine and the White House Presidential event hosting all the world leaders attending the UN General Assembly.  Her passion is establishing more effective policies and efficient operational protocols for security operations. Her vision for the MET Security team is to become “the global leader” in museum security and protective services.

Lombardo is the former Acting Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).  She began her career as a Special Agent in the Miami Field Office and held positions in at the US Consulate in Toronto, Canada, the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the New York City Office, and the Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa,  Florida Field Office before taking the helm in Washington , DC .  In 2018, she became the first women to lead the premiere federal law enforcement agency when United States Attorney General William Barr of the U.S. Department of Justice nominated her for the top leadership role, the greatest honor of her life.

Skilled in organizational discipline, oversight and accountability, and risk mitigation, her goal was to lead the women and men of ATF, despite the challenges and adversity she faced with a mission as critical as enforcing the federal firearms, explosives, and arson laws, as well as regulating the firearms industry.

It wasn’t long before she was truly tested. During the 2020 civil unrest, while navigating the agency through the Covid-19 global pandemic, she led the largest operational deployment in ATF’s history. Lombardo attributes her “Heart and Sword” leadership philosophy for her success during this time of extreme crisis, a style of leading with compassion and capability and authenticity.

Lombardo earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and criminal law with a minor in education and teaching from the University of South Florida. She is a member of numerous professional organizations to include: Women in Federal Law Enforcement, the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives, the ATF Retired Foundation, The International Associations of Chiefs of Police, Major City Chiefs, and the Smithsonian Executive Board for Cultural Properties.

What do CSO 360 Sponsors say?

“Being able to moderate the panel, have great discussions across such an amazing landscape with so many different security leaders is great. The 121 meetings were really special. We’ve had a lot of amazing profound conversations, hearing about their worlds, their challenges across global security and the threat landscape, understanding further how we can help support people in some of those areas”
Sara Pratley, SVP Global Intelligence, AlertMedia

“CSO 360 in Rome has been fantastic. A great way to engage with CSOs and our key message at this event has been how do we bring software and data back to the heart of the security and resilience industry and the result has been fantastic. Pulse has done a fantastic job in bringing everyone together and we look forward to future events and to continuing the discussion.”
Botan Osman, CEO, Restrata

“We’ve been sponsoring Pulse CSO 360 for a number of years. The reason we really like this event is the great people that come. It’s a great audience for us. Fantastic to be able to network, share ideas and to speak to people in the industry about the issues of the day and the shared things we all face. That’s been fantastic for us over the years. The other thing that sets this apart from the others is the fun element of engaging together. The Pulse team is very good at making sure you get the most out of the event in terms of building the relationships and connecting. Incredibly value, a lot of fun!!”
Justin Crump, CEO, Sibylline

“It’s my second time at CSO 360. Always a great opportunity to network with people we haven’t seen in the industry for some time. Great to interact to understand new technologies and understand the physical threats that we’ll be facing in the future.”
Robert Aldous, Chief Customer Officer, Solace Global (Frmr Snr Director, Group Risk Strategic Projects, Prudential)

“Great to be back at another CSO 360 event! It’s been superb. We’ve done a lot of networking with our friends and partners at the networking events in the evenings. Lots of great conversations have come from it. I’m already looking forward to next year.”
Andrew Devereux, Risk Intelligence Officer, Healix

“I attend a lot of security events but these days its quality over quantity, for me the CSO means. The level of person who attend means you can learn something and take away From a sponsor perspective, I couldn’t have a better audience and market!”
Andy Williams, Director, SafeHotels Alliance

“The key take-away of CSO 360 is the calibre of the individuals who attend. I’ve done these events over many years and I’m incredibly impressed with the team. They pulled this off brilliantly! I’ve had conversations with people who have budget, make decisions and who want to know about technologies that Mastercard cyber intelligence has.”
EMEA Strategic Alliances Director, Mastercard

“As someone relatively new to security industry events, I found CSO 360’s blend of formal sessions and informal networking particularly effective. The Global Congress bridges generational perspectives, ensuring younger professionals have a voice alongside seasoned leaders. The opening keynote, delivered by the BBC’s Frank Gardner, and the predictions panel were especially valuable for understanding how security trends might shape future news cycles. The informal atmosphere encourages genuine dialogue and relationship-building, making complex security topics more accessible for industry newcomers.”
Breaking News Editor, Factal

“Yet another fabulous event from the awesome, tireless Pulse team! Speed dating was great for both the sponsors and delegates, with plenty of time and the evenings to continue the introductions”
Enterprise Security, QinetiQ

“Fantastic event, relevant topics discussed and delivered by subject matter experts”
Partner, Kaseware

“This is my first time at CSO 360. I wanted to connect with other individuals passionate about improving the quality and efficiency of the products they’re providing for their firms. I’ve had an absolutely amazing time and a long list of highlights. This includes connecting with other professionals looking at the same issues from various perspectives. The boat cruise and the dinner at the Reichstag were also amazing. The networking here has been unique and incredibly valuable.”

Testimonials – CSO 360

“A great opportunity to meet with fellow security colleagues to discuss a range of topics that are affecting the security industry – all in a spectacular location!”
Simon Clarke, Global Security Director, Jhpiego (United States)

Inspiring fresh thinking: When security leaders connect!

“I was delighted to attend my first CSO 360. I found it inspiring and motivating, offering fresh perspectives on security leadership. The Global Congress highlighted how security transcends traditional boundaries – whether protecting priceless artefacts or managing complex AI implementations. The question that resonated most was: ‘How do you bring value to your organisation?’ This provocation aligns perfectly with our mission at the Met, where we’re transforming security culture through innovative approaches. The diversity of attendees and the quality of discussions makes this event unique. I’ve already recommended CSO 360 to other cultural institutions in New York City, as I don’t think they can miss the next one. It’s an invaluable opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals while thinking differently about common challenges.”
Regina Lombardo, Chief Security Officer, Metropolitan Museum of Art (United States)

Building global networks: The power of return visits!

“Most conferences remain regionally focused, but CSO 360 truly delivers global perspectives. The discussions about US election impacts and geopolitical shifts were particularly enlightening for those of us managing security across international operations. Having attended twice now, I’ve found the congress invaluable for understanding how global companies navigate different regional contexts. The mix of strategic insights and practical knowledge makes this event – which I’ve attended twice, now – stand out. It’s rare to find a forum where security leaders from the US, Europe, and beyond can engage so openly.”
Alberto Gallardo, Security Manager, The Walt Disney Company (Spain)

Beyond traditional boundaries: Finding common ground!

“For those of us in the United Nations system, and beyond, CSO 360 offers refreshingly different perspectives. The Global Congress revealed how, despite our different sectors, we share many common security challenges. The format encourages open dialogue and knowledge-sharing in a remarkably constructive atmosphere. What struck me most was seeing how different industries approach similar problems – it’s a win-win learning experience. The combination of subject matter experts and practical case studies makes this event particularly valuable for security leaders looking to broaden their horizons. I live and work in Rome, so it was great that CSO 360 was here – but I hope to return in”
Maria Victoria Montalvo, Deputy Director, World Food Programme (Italy)

Fresh eyes on security: A next-generation perspective

“As someone relatively new to security industry events, I found CSO 360’s blend of formal sessions and informal networking particularly effective. The Global Congress bridges generational perspectives, ensuring younger professionals have a voice alongside seasoned leaders. The opening keynote, delivered by the BBC’s Frank Gardner, and the predictions panel were especially valuable for understanding how security trends might shape future news cycles. The informal atmosphere encourages genuine dialogue and relationship-building, making complex security topics more accessible for industry newcomers.”
Agnese Boffano, Breaking News Editor, Factal (UK)

Strategic horizons: Developing tomorrow’s leaders!

“The CSO 360 Global Congress operates at exactly the right strategic level, making it perfect for security leaders navigating the transition to senior management. The AI discussions particularly resonated. These sessions emphasised the importance of maintaining core analytical skills while embracing new technologies. What sets CSO 360 apart is its focus on strategic thinking and future challenges. There’s a real opportunity to develop the next generation of security leaders here, perhaps through dedicated sessions for emerging managers. The event encourages active participation and genuine peer engagement, making it invaluable for professional development. The Rome event was my first, and I was happy to get involved. I will be bringing more of my colleagues next time.”
Andrew Pratt, Deputy Head of Situation Intelligence Analysis, Siemens (Germany)

Networking and meeting potential potential new business partners!

“Yet another fabulous event from the awesome, tireless Pulse team! Speed dating was great for both the sponsors and delegates, with plenty of time and the evenings to continue the introductions”
James Mason, Enterprise Security, QinetiQ (UK)

“Excellent organisation, networking experience, great Pulse team, keep it up!”
George Ghines, Founder and CEO, EHC Group (South Sudan)

Programme, topics and speakers!

“Great set of topics, very up to date, profound speakers, amazing!”
Michal Cieslik, CSO, Wiener Linien (Austria)

“Fantastic programme, relevant topics discussed and delivered by subject matter experts”
Charles White, Partner, Kaseware

“Fantastic for implementable learnings and networking!”
Sybil Kleinmichel, Managing Director, Commerzbank (Germany)

“Superb presentations and top notch talented leaders in the cybersecurity industry!”
Kobe Schwartz, Director Threat Intelligence, Signify (Israel)

“Great conference, I learned a lot and met great colleagues!”
Patrick Kane, Senior Director Security, Atlas Air (United States)

“I loved my first CSO 360. I followed the 2022 edition in Istanbul on LinkedIn and saw very positive comments from the community. The mixture is right. You’ve got security practitioners and outside providers. Sometimes, with Germans, we do get focused on facts and data. But having the British influence and a bit more light-hearted approach makes it a worthwhile conference here. I lived in Berlin for nearly ten years and had never had the opportunity to eat in the Reichstag before – what a treat.”
Carolin Jameson, Head of Business Resilience, Siemens Healthineers

“My first time at the CSO 360 Congress has been an absolute triumph. There’s a huge cross-section of speakers and a genuinely international audience. Hence, you gain deep perspectives. Some good socialising also goes with it, where you can meet and build relationships without necessarily talking about business. The setting here in Berlin has been spectacular – not least at dinner in the German Parliament. If you are a CSO or a CISO, I think it’s certainly worth attending – it’s probably the most informative event of this type I’ve been to. If you are a consultant or someone who works with the C-suite, I think it’s hugely important to be here because you’re meeting the people who are often the gatekeepers who are often difficult to get to know and meet outside of these events.”
CEO and Founder, Defuse

“It is an absolute privilege to come here and speak at CSO 360. The audience’s engagement level was very high. During the coffee break afterwards, I couldn’t move because so many people wanted to learn more, which shows what the community is like. They’re a great group from a diverse range of industries and companies. I’ll be back next year.”
CEO, The Association of Corporate Investigators

“It’s my first time at CSO 360, and I came because of the topics on the agenda and the people attending. There were exciting speakers at the conference, especially the keynotes on both days. I will make the time to attend next year to see even more fantastic people from all around the world, speak with other people, hear their concerns, and learn from them.”
CSO, WML (The Netherlands)

“I’ve heard many good things about CSO 360 over the years. Many CSOs I know have almost become CSO 360 groupies and talk about it in such fun terms. There has been some excellent content, and I’ve taken a lot of notes. And also there’s a nice social atmosphere as well. We’ve done some fun things in the evening. So it’s a nice mix of work and then a bit of downtime.”
Co-Founder and CEO of The Clarity Factory

“As this was my first CSO 360 event, I had no preconceptions. Therefore, I was more than pleasantly surprised as I experienced such a warm friendly, professional and fast moving conference and networking event. I met so many old friends, new contacts, good people, possible suppliers, clients or contractors.. All in all a fabulous and valuable use of 3 days of my time.”
Head of Global Security Brown Brothers Harriman (United Kingdom)

“This is my first time at CSO 360. I wanted to connect with other individuals passionate about improving the quality and efficiency of the products they’re providing for their firms. I’ve had an absolutely amazing time and a long list of highlights. This includes connecting with other professionals looking at the same issues from various perspectives. The boat cruise and the dinner at the Reichstag were also amazing. The networking here has been unique and incredibly valuable.”
Director of Training, Emergent Risk International

“This was my first Pulse event. The topics covered were great and getting to know the participants and sharing information opened my horizons!”
Head Security, McDonald’s – Turkiye

“What a successful conference. It’s been brilliant. The quality of the conversation and the delegates were amazing. The networking is unrivalled. The hospitality is superb. Thanks, Germany, for a wonderful event. It just gets better and better and better every year. And I cannot impress on people enough how you need to be at the next conference in 2024.”
Chief Education & Development Officer – Association of Corporate Investigators (ACi)

“This opened up many new horizons, thank you. Nice meeting intellectual security business people!”
CSO, LC Waikiki – Türkiye

“This conference is very different from any other one I’ve been to because it’s bigger, there’s more to do, a huge range of topics, and everyone’s lovely. I had a great time in the evenings. As a vendor in the security recruitment space, we have had lots of people coming up to us. We’re here, we’re networking, getting to know people and telling people about our opportunities as well. I would definitely recommend CSO 360 to other people. I’ve learnt a lot over the past few days, spoken to interesting people and had a great time.”
